Our Cabinet Process

From Design to Installation

Our Process

Initial Inquiry & Consultation

Reach out through our contact form. We will schedule a phone call to discuss your needs, style preferences, budget, and timeline and to determine whether stock or custom cabinetry is the best fit for your project.

Measurements & Site Information

Accurate measurements are gathered either from the homeowner or builder, or during an on-site visit with a Bosveld Homes team member. We charge $100 for professional measuring services, which is fully refunded when you move forward with a cabinet order. This visit allows us to ensure your cabinetry fits the space perfectly while accommodating appliances, windows, doors, and plumbing for a seamless final result.

Design & Layout

We will develop comprehensive cabinet designs with detailed 2D plans and realistic 3D renderings. Together, we will refine every detail—from cabinet configuration and door styles to finishes, materials, and smart storage solutions. We will continue to revise the design as needed until every detail is approved and finalized.

Proposal

Once the design is approved, we will provide a detailed quote outlining cabinet costs, upgrades, and any additional services such as delivery, installation, or custom modifications.

Final Selections & Order Placement

After the client confirms all selections (door style, finish, etc.), the order will be placed with the manufacturer or moved into production for custom cabinetry. Changes after this stage may be limited.

Production

Cabinets will be manufactured or built according to the approved specifications. Typical lead times are approximately four weeks for stock cabinets and ten weeks for custom cabinets.

Delivery

Once complete, cabinets will be delivered to the job site.

Installation

We’re happy to offer professional installation of cabinets, trim, and all agreed-upon details. If you prefer to work with your own installer, we’re equally happy to accommodate.
